Plantain chips with sundried-tomato vegan almond based cream cheese.

This is a very simple vegan cheese that goes great on anything, from bagel and cream cheese to plantain chips. add a bit more almond milk and make a great chip dip.

When you need a quick summer snack this is another great one to add to your list.  A 9 ingredient plant-based cheese / nut spread.

Ingredients:

1 Cup raw almonds

1/2 Cup non-dairy milk (I used unsweetened almond)

1/2 Lemon

3 Tablespoons nutritional yeast

1/2 Teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 Teaspoon salt

5 Oil-packed sundried tomatoes

1 Tablespoon tomatoes sauce

1/4 Teaspoon maple syrup

 

Directions:

 

  1. Blend all ingredients on high speed until smooth and creamy.
  2. Place into the fridge to chill 5-10 minutes before serving
