Radish, Pear and Mint smoothie

Happy National Smoothie Day!

Radish, Pear and Mint Smoothie! (serves 2)


3 Radishes
2 Pears (chopped and seeds removed
1/4 Cup fresh mint lightly packed
1/4 Cup non dairy yogurt (I used coconut)
1/2 Cup orange juice
1 Cup ice


  1. Blend in blender until smooth


June 21 is National smoothie Day a made up holiday, that I will certainly not complain about.

The true history of the smoothie is considered to be unknown. Its popularity has grown tremendously since the1980’s but smoothies can be traced back to 1922, thanks to the invention Steven Poplawskiof the inventor of the electric blender.
