Strawberry Quinoa Porridge


1 cup Quinoa
1 cup Water
1 cup Hemp milk or non-dairy milk of choice
3 Tablespoons maple syrup
1/4 Cup fresh strawberries or other fruit of choice


  1. In a medium pot toast quinoa for 30 seconds until you hear little popping sounds. (You can also skip this step. I find toasting takes out that bitter taste some people don’t like).
  2. Add all other ingredients (not fruit).
  3. Cook quinoa as directed on package.
  4. Add fresh fruit.

Serve hot or cold. *if serving cold allow to cool before adding fruit
This is a great make-ahead breakfast you can make the night before!
