1 cup Quinoa
1 cup Water
1 cup Hemp milk or non-dairy milk of choice
3 Tablespoons maple syrup
1/4 Cup fresh strawberries or other fruit of choice
- In a medium pot toast quinoa for 30 seconds until you hear little popping sounds. (You can also skip this step. I find toasting takes out that bitter taste some people don’t like).
- Add all other ingredients (not fruit).
- Cook quinoa as directed on package.
- Add fresh fruit.
Serve hot or cold. *if serving cold allow to cool before adding fruit
This is a great make-ahead breakfast you can make the night before!
