1/2 Head of cauliflower, steamed or boiled until tender
1 Cup raw cashews, boiled for 15 min or soaked overnight
4 Roasted garlic cloves. (can sub garlic powder- do not sub raw garlic)
1 Can chickpeas (drained and rinsed)
2 Tablespoons Frank’s Red Hot sauce or other hot sauce
1/2 Cup water
2 Tablespoons nutritional yeast
1/2 Teaspoon onion powder
1/2 Teaspoon garlic powder
1 Tablespoon paprika
- Preheat oven to 350.
- In a food processor add all ingredients and puree until smooth.
- Transfer to oven safe dish cover with aluminum and bake until hot.(about 25 min).
- Sprinkle with red pepper flakes. Serve and enjoy with tortilla chips.
*this is a great make-ahead dish that you can keep in the fridge for a few days then heat it up when u want to eat it.
